The volunteers will join a special team of staff who regularly audit wards gathering information on cleaning standards, catering and maintenance needs in the nine hospitals run by the Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board.
Those interested should contact Andrew Phillips, Healthcare Environment Project, University Hospital of Wales by telephone on 029 20746843 or by email at Andrew.Phillips@cardiffandvale.wales.nhs.uk
