Proposed New Groups

Circle Dance for Men

If you can walk, you can dance! I promise! Come and engage mind and body in a non-competitive, non-judgmental way. Dance to wonderful traditional and modern music from around the world. Each dance will be chosen to suit the group and carefully taught step by step. No previous experience will be expected or necessary.

Please contact me at circle.dance@cardiffu3a.org.uk to express an interest, or for more information. We need a minimum of six men to get started – but the more the merrier!

Venue: The Vestry, Tabernacl, The Hayes, Cardiff, near John Lewis.

Provisional dates: Tuesdays, 11am–12.30pm, 15 October; 5 November. Other times may be possible depending on demand and availability.

Eurythmy Group

Eurythmy is an expressive movement art originated by the Austrian, Rudolf Steiner, in the early 20th century. It is also used in education, and is performed with music and spoken texts. We have been approached by a new member with a proposal to start an Interest Group. It will require a pianist to accompany the group, with simple music. If you are interested and can offer help please contact newsletter@cardiffu3a.org.uk .

German Language Group

At the recent 'Meet the Groups' meeting there was enthusiasm to start a German Language Group. If you are interested in supporting this venture please email german@cardiffu3a.org.uk

The French Conversation started 5 years ago with just 4 people and it is still going with 30+ so come on, send an email and I will arrange a meeting to Deutsch sprechen.
